Business Outcomes Study

PreVisor’s 2008 Business Outcomes Report represents 33 unique research studies conducted by PreVisor's talent measurement experts and partner companies in 2007. The studies were completed in conjunction with major U.S. and international corporations, and provide insight into the direct correlation between key performance indicators and the businesses’ pre-employment testing initiatives. The studies span numerous industries from financial services to the retail sector, covering various job roles that incorporate sales, clerical, and customer service test solutions.

Some highlights from this year’s findings include:

  • Luxury retail chain Sales Representatives with high assessment scores sold nearly $270,000 more per year than lower scoring peers.
  • A healthcare organization saved approximately $1.5 million annually on recruitment and training expenses by using an employment testing assessment to predict retention which led to hiring individuals more likely to stay on the job.
  • Collections agents for a financial services group hired after achieving a high score on an assessment solution that included achievement motivation, sales potential, and customer service questions were 44% more effective in getting outstanding debts paid off, resulting in improved overall productivity.
  • In a contact center focused on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), agents with high call center test scores converted more than twice the number of calls to sales opportunities than lower scoring agents.
